CA: you_caNOVBEAR was supposed to sleep through November. Instead, the northern lights hit the mountains, the charts turned green, and he packed a laptop, a thermos and one ridiculous red scarf.
Now he follows the aurora from peak to peak. No roadmap. No prophecy. Just snow, bad Wi-Fi and a stubborn belief that the next signal is over the ridge.
NOVBEAR does not measure fear or greed. He watches one thing: how bright the northern sky gets before he leaves camp.
If the scarf starts moving before the wind does, pack fast.
The whiteout killed the trail markers. Lock the red needle onto the aurora window five times before NOVBEAR loses the path.
